At age 35, she chose to continue staying for them,
but she had a family she cared for more,
At age 33, she left their home country for good,
leaving only text messages and the occasional call,
At age 27, she found a career overseas, in a place
she loves and plans to spend the rest of her life,
At age 19, they accepted her dreams and passions
of singing lullabies while they sleep every night
At age 15, she chose her own path they knew very little about,
which was not what they hoped her to be,
And at age 58 and age 61, they think:
"Why won't they stay with me."
